Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies we use on SelahCard, why we use them, and how you can control them. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They let the site remember you between pages and sessions. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the site to function; others are used for analytics or advertising.
2. Cookies We Use
SelahCard uses a minimal set of strictly-necessary cookies. We do not currently use any advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics cookies.

Essential cookies do not require consent under GDPR or ePrivacy Directive because they are necessary to provide the service you requested. The analytics cookie (selahcard_vs) is first-party only — we do not share it with any third parties (no Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, etc.). For users in jurisdictions that require explicit consent for analytics cookies, we treat our banner acknowledgement as your informed acceptance; if you prefer not to be tracked, you can block this cookie in your browser settings.
3. Third-Party Cookies
When you pay for a subscription, you are redirected to Stripe's secure checkout, which sets its own cookies to process your payment. See Stripe's privacy policy.
If you choose to sign in with Google, Google may set cookies during the OAuth flow. See Google's privacy policy.
4. What We Don't Use
- No Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar tracking pixels;
- No advertising networks;
- No cross-site or cross-device tracking;
- No "fingerprinting" techniques to identify you across sites.
If this changes, we'll update this page, update our cookie banner, and where legally required we'll ask for your explicit consent first.
5. Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings — block all cookies, delete existing cookies, or allow only specific sites. Instructions for common browsers:
Note: if you block our essential cookies, you will not be able to sign in to the Service.
6. Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because we don't track users across sites, we treat all traffic the same whether or not DNT is set.
7. Changes to This Policy
We will update this page if our cookie usage changes materially.
