Use these instructions like a checklist. Each block explains where to go, what to tap, and how to confirm the feature is ready.
How to
Create your card
Start with the details people need to save you right away.
- Open the Get Your Card page.
- Add your name, title, company, phone number, and email.
- Upload your photo or logo, then choose the image shape.
- Add useful links: website, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram, booking link, or portfolio.
- Review the preview before moving forward.
Tip: Use one primary call to action so visitors know what to tap first.
How to
Customize your card
Pro and Business options help your card feel like your brand.
- From the dashboard, open Edit my card.
- Update the main color, photo, banner, or buttons.
- Add a short bio under your title if you want to explain what you do.
- Add profile blocks such as gallery, services, testimonials, FAQ, or video depending on your plan.
- Save changes. Your already-shared link updates automatically.
Tip: You do not need to send a new link after an edit: the old link shows the new version.
How to
Share your card
SelahCard can be shared by link, QR code, NFC, email signature, or mobile wallet.
- Open your dashboard or share page.
- Copy your link to send by text, WhatsApp, email, or social media.
- Show the QR code when sharing in person.
- Download the QR code if you want to print it on a flyer, sign, or physical card.
- Use NFC if you have a configured NFC card.
Tip: For events, keep the QR open on your phone so people can scan quickly.
How to
Install SelahCard on your phone
Add SelahCard to your home screen so you can open it quickly without hunting for the link.
- Open your card or dashboard in Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android.
- On iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- On Android, tap the Chrome menu, then Add to Home screen.
- Rename the shortcut if needed, then confirm.
- Next time, open SelahCard from the icon on your screen.
Tip: This is useful for trade shows, client meetings, and quick introductions.
How to
Add to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet
The wallet pass keeps your card ready to show in seconds.
- Open your public card.
- Tap Add to Apple Wallet or Add to Google Wallet if the option is available.
- Confirm the pass inside your Wallet app.
- Open Wallet when you meet someone and show the pass or QR.
Tip: The pass is useful even when you are not signed in to your dashboard.
How to
Create your email signature
The signature turns every email you send into a chance to share your card.
- Open the sharing tools from your card or dashboard.
- Copy the email signature template.
- Paste it into Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail, or your email app.
- Send a test email to confirm the link and button look right.
Tip: Keep the signature simple: name, role, phone, and SelahCard link are often enough.
How to
Scan a paper business card
The scanner turns a paper card into a digital contact you can review and save.
- Open Scan a card from SelahCard.
- Place the paper card on a clear, well-lit surface.
- Take the photo, then wait for SelahCard to extract the information.
- Review the name, email, phone, company, and website.
- Correct any fields if needed, then save the contact.
Tip: If the card is dark or glossy, retake the photo with less glare.
How to
Use the lead inbox
Messages sent from your card arrive inside your SelahCard workspace.
- Open your dashboard.
- Go to Inbox or Leads.
- Open a message to see the contact name, email, and context.
- Reply from the email you received or from the available reply tool.
- Use the conversation history so important requests do not get lost.
Tip: Reply quickly to new leads: they often come right after meeting you.
How to
Edit your card
One edit updates your card everywhere it has already been shared.
- Sign in to your dashboard.
- Open Edit my card.
- Change contact details, links, photo, colors, or buttons.
- Preview the card before saving.
- Click Save. Your existing link and QR code stay the same.
Tip: Only change what needs changing: a clear card converts better.
How to
Track your analytics
Analytics help you understand how people use your card.
- Open your dashboard.
- Review views to see how many people opened your card.
- Review clicks to see which buttons people use.
- Review saves to understand how many contacts saved you.
- Compare results after an event, campaign, or week of outreach.
Tip: If many people view the card but few click, simplify your primary button.
